Log Home Building and Repairs is family-owned and operated right here in Nevada City, California. Were at an elevation of 4500' with a backdrop to the sierra moutains. We know about what it takes to work in severe weather and get the job done with the least amount of footprint to your home or surroundings .
Since our company opened its doors in 2006, we’ve treated every customer with respect and excellent service. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services are the best, and come with a personal touch. Care is taken when working on your log home to make sure that every precaution is taken to insure a clean and safe working enviornment.
We own and operate our own portable sawmill. We can travel the United States no matter where you are. If you have trees that are dry and accessible, we can mill these right on your property and use them in the restoration or remodel of your log or cedar home.
Take a look at some of the remodels we have done, most of the wood seen was milled or recycled from the job site.
Not only do we work on repairing log homes, we also do remodeling and additions.
Cedar siding is also a specialty of ours and can be replaced with minimal cost to the client.
Similar companies buy their logs from milling companies which in turn raises the price to fix your log home. We mill our own if they are readily available in your area.
